This is a bug that has caused some confusion, but there is a work around, or kind of I guess. The fix is more a habit that must be formed but you'll get use to it in about 10 years. J/K :o)

I'm not sure if the names I've defined to the buttons are correct?, but I needed something to put a name to for this example, so I had to come up with something.

Ok, here is the deal:
Sometimes when you are trying to define you reserves, strange things happen, for example you'll try to add a different tank then the one you just added, but you'll keep getting the same thing over and over again, and it seems the only way to fix it is to close the window but that can get annoying.
Here is what you do...

So lets say you've just opened this window shown above and are ready to go.
1. First, Get into the habit of always clicking the picture, The picture I'm talking about is the one shown above titled Picture in Orange text. you want to always click on that before and after every button you click.
2. Ok so start by moveing the slider just under the picture to choose your tank or truck(s). Notice how I'm telling you to click on the picture again before clicking on the switch-mode button? Always click that picture in the top left before and after using the switch-mode button..
3. Then click the picture, and click the switch mode button.
4. After you are done adding your men to the trucks or what ever you added, make sure you hit the picture button "before" you toggle the Switch mode button off, or it might go wacko. "I know I'm repeating my self" :o)

"One more thing", always keep an eye on the fields tilted
-Hit points
-Ammunition
-Experience and
-Group, some times they will change to something like (0) and you'll end up giving your men no ammo :o(

By the way, for you new guys, the buttons with the checks labeled R, G, A, ? = Russia, German, Allies, and the(?) Mark is just for extras like snipers, and ammo, and some other good stuff. You've probably already figured out that if you click one, For example (R) you will only see Russian units, which is a lot easer then trying to look through all three sets.

Listing Explained:

AE 100 ! 100 ! 0A : A0 : A: 0 In 0

The first 100 relates to the hit points.
The second 100 relates to Ammo
0A.... means Experiance (ie 30A... 30 experiance points)
A0 is the group (they should all be AO)
A:0 is the lives (A:1 = 1 life)
In:0 is the cargo ( In:10 = 10 men/ammo crates etc)

Anyway back to what I was saying, there will be times where you need to click the reserves window to check what groups where in trucks, and you'll probably have to close the window, and reopen it, but if you get into the habits mentioned in the steps above, the ride will be a lot smoother.

Note: I've also discovered a problem in the labeling, if you look in the Allied army, there are two sets of sub-machine gunners: one of them is a dark brown color, and the other is a lighter color, almost like a yellow, cream color. Do not use the brown colored Allied sub Machine gunners, or they will show up as Allied tank crew in the game. I learned this the hard way. Anyway, hope this all helps.
